You're invited (seriously)

One of the most common questions I've had to answer about Reunion 2009 is if someone is booked using DVC points or booked with another travel agent or booked on their own, can they still attend our events. The definitive answer is yes! It's no secret that Mouse Fan Travel is the official travel agent of Reunion, but certainly there are plenty of instances where you may need to book without their services (Disney Vacation Club is a great example) and we want everyone to know you are more than welcome to still join us for our events. We want to make sure Reunion is an event where everyone feels welcome to participate.

The other big question is still "what about Monday?". The answer to that question isn't as clear. Thus far, still no consensus on what we will do. Because we want Reunion to be fun and relaxing, we're considering leaving Monday as an "open day", where as we go through Reunion, some of us as a group feel some of us want to re-ride something while others may want to check something else and so Monday could end up being a free-for-all (and that's a good thing). I'll open up comments for any additional thoughts on the matter, as we have been known to be off our rocker from time to time.

I have to say how nice this

I have to say how nice this is.

While some other long winded podcast reaches for the sky with private American Adventure dinners and cruises on the Disney Dream when it sets sail, your Tent Event and these reunion style meets are wonderful for those who cannot afford those high price events and or want a more intimate get together with other listeners and the hosts of the show.

I love the fact that you guys do not have your heads in the clouds, and you see things straight, and not with pixie colored glasses.

See you in December!!!!

I have to say

FYI the "private American Adventure dinners" was hosted by wdwtoday and it looks like they are doing it again

and that "long winded podcast" has free meets each and every single month in Disneyworld, and has been for almost a year

"I have to say" -- how mean-spirited your post is

have a magical day

"FYI" WDWToday has never had

"FYI" WDWToday has never had a dinner or any meet of any kind at the American Adventure so they're not "doing it again"

I wasn't trying to be "mean-spirited" in my op, just pointing out the different directions the 2 shows are going in, and which one I prefer.

* I meant Adventures Club

* I meant Adventures Club dinner sorry :)

Still love you guys!

I quite like the idea of

I quite like the idea of keeping the schedule light, but I think there should be something on the Monday as a farewell event, whether it be a morning brunch so those that head off early can attend or a big finale like doing a group fireworks event (maybe Scopa could show the lucky few still there where his secret spot is for Illuminations...)

Multi-track Monday

There were so many good suggestions for Monday activities, I propose that you copy the format used in business conferences and group them into "tracks." The activities in each track would have something in common, such as location. Reunionists could pick a track and follow it, or just pick and choose whichever meets appeal to them or that fit their schedule.

Some possible tracks:
Animal Kingdom
No park ticket required
Eat and eat and eat (and maybe drink)
Leaving in the afternoon
Sleep until noon

Monday

I would have loved to see an Animal Kingdom meet. Perhaps an AE ride or a Finding Nemo watch. I do understand, however, the idea of keeping it open will obviously appeal to some.
